SHARE AND DISCOVER NEW FOODS —
AND NEW FOOD FRIENDS
Food swaps can be found all over the country, from New York to Portland and everywhere in between. It’s a simple idea — participants bring some homemade food, anything from jams to cookies to homemade beer, which they use to barter for other homemade items. Then there’s time to socialize and have a drink or two.
Everyone is welcome and everyone is welcoming. You’ll get to share your favorite homemade foods, have a reason to try that new recipe, go home with a variety of foods to sample and share with your friends and family, and meet some of your fellow food-loving Chicagoans. What could be better?
We hope to see you at the next swap and social.
